I came back to wow raiding in Nyalotha.
Prior to that I raided in Wrath casually and Cata midcore-ly.
If possible link a recent Combat Log (WWS, Warcraft Logs, etc.):
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/id/2272571 - Here's a link to my Ret pally's Warcraft Log page.
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/KzW4yX1nGh8rpVb3#fight=9&type=damage-done - I believe that was my last raid parse on my pally when I pugged H Raz on her.
If you want to check out a parse from my warrior, since that is what I guild raided VOTI on, feel free to check out:

https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/njkFfgw26c3yGXap#fight=1&type=damage-done - My "best" parse, I would say. It was H Terros.
Previous Guild(s):
Grand Theft Kodo (A) - BFA(Nyalotha) til Now.
Fury - Cata
Reason for leaving:
The guild raid was becoming too "casual" for me, if you will.
Low performers and/or those that died to mechanics constantly were given to notices, warnings, and advice on how to improve and just never did. Whether because inability to, lack of desire to, or if they just didn't care. Officers/Council did nothing to address it, so this cycle repeated all throughout Shadowlands and into S1 DF unfortunately.
When myself and some other folks initially brought up this grievance to Officers/Council, we were told it was going to be addressed and get better, and it simply never did.
Why do you want to join our raid team?
I was actually referred to you guys from an old friend of mine, Jaysashi.
He mentioned to me that you guys are midcore, which is honestly more my style. Y'all seem chill but also make good progress so I wanted to check you guys out and see if it's a good fit!
Do you know any of our current guild members?
No.
How long have you been playing WoW?
Since around 2008. I started playing wow when Isle of Quel'Danas was first introduced.
What website(s)/sources do you use to gather information about your class/spec and raid boss encounters?
Wowhead, Class Discord, Raider.io and I'm checking out u.gg/wow currently - For Class Resources.
Youtube, Liquid and as of lately, Stankie for Raid Boss videos and Plus videos.
What is your base rotation/spell priority?
Opener - Blade of Justice -> (2 HoPo) -> Judgement -> (4 HoPo) -> Wings/Avenging Wrath -> Hammer of Wrath -> (5 HoPo) -> Final Reckoning (FR) -> Templar's Verdict/Final Verdict -> (1 HoPo) -> Wake of Ashes -> (4 HoPo) -> Templar's Verdict/Final Verdict -> (1 HoPo) -> Divine Toll and continue from there. Reasoning being for this opener is, you want to get all your major cooldowns rolling while making sure you don't cap on Holy Power (HoPo) and ideally you always want to use Final Reckoning (FR) with as much pooled HoPo as possible.
Base rotation really is a gainer/spender playstyle, where you ideally want to get 4-5 Holy Power and then spend it using Templar's Verdict/Final Verdict or Divine Storm. Single Target and AoE respectively.
When it comes to Spell Priority, outside of an opener:
1) Wings/Avenging Wrath
2) Final Reckoning with at least 4 Holy Power, ideally 5 but I always try to keep these two cooldowns lined up since they're both 60s
3) Templar's Verdict - if Holy Power capped (5)
4) Wake of Ashes if at 2 holy power or less - Sometimes, I will use Wake if I'm sitting at 3 holy power and nothing else is up, just to keep my GCD rolling, and the loss of 1 holy power isn't game breaking.
5) Divine Toll
6) Hammer of Wrath
7) Templar Slash (if it's about to expire.)
8) Blade of Justice - 3 or less Holy Power
9) Judgment - 3 or less Holy Power and Judgment debuff isn't up
10) Templar's Verdict (4 Holy Power)
11) Templar Strike / Templar Slash combo. This is essentially what Crusader Strike turned into. A 2-part move combo that each generate 1 Holy Power. This also ties back to #7 because, if you don't use Templar Slash, the 2nd-part of the 2 part combo, you lose it and the potential holy power.
12) Judgment
Historically we raid Tues/Wed/Thurs from 8:00pm-10:30pm Central Time, can you make these times on a weekly basis?
Yep!
There may be times where I can't, the most common reason being I have to go and visit my parents for Holidays/Birthdays or, they decide to come up and stay with me, in my not-so-big 1bed apartment. It doesn't happen often, but if I'm going to be absent, I will of course let Officers/Leadership know.
What is your raid availability? (Days/Times)
I usually work 9-6pm EST. Outside of that I don't have any regularly planned or scheduled activities, so my availability is generally pretty open.
Monday - Good on and after 8pm Eastern
Tuesday - Good on and after 8pm Eastern
Wednesday - Good on and after 8pm Eastern
Thursday - Good on and after 8pm Eastern
Friday, Saturday, Sunday - If I'm on, I'm down. I try/tend to reserve Friday/Saturday/Sunday for days to go out and see Friends or what have you, or maybe sometimes just play a game that isn't wow, heh, but if I'm online, I'm generally down to do stuff.
Do you have discord and the ability to listen to people on it?
Yep!
Do you often have issues with bad latency, frame rate or disconnects? (Please be honest, we are going to find out soon enough anyway)
Nope!
Do you frequently need to go afk during raids? (Kids, food, work, medical reasons, etc. Real life always comes first but we still would like to know so we can set realistic expectations)
Nope!
Why should we take you over some other drood/huntard/melee warlock?
I would like to think I'm a good ret pally. I've been playing the class for quite some time and I enjoy it, especially with the 10.0.7 rework.
I consider myself a chill dude, I tend to mesh well with everyone and honestly, I would like to raid with you guys. Hopefully we have fun and vibe well, but if we don't then no harm, no foul! :)
Are you willing to re-spec or be on add duty for the good of the raid if needed?
Yep! Example: Broodmother, I had two specs ready to go whether I was on Boss that week or Adds that week. I was fine with doing either.
Do you understand that raid teams have more members than there are raid spots in case of absences/boss composition needs, this means that you may not get an invite to EVERY raid?
Totally understandable, because a worry/anxiety I have is, if and when I need to take an absence, I a) don't want to put a bad foot forward, because I value consistency and b) don't want to hinder the raid or ruin good progress we might've been having.
Out of Exile requires that you have DBM (or BigWigs), WeakAuras, and Discord, as well as that you come prepared to raids with food/flasks/potions - can you abide by that?
Yep!
Who is Cartman's father?
According to https://southpark.fandom.com/wiki/Jack_Tenorman - Jack Tenorman is Cartman's Father, lol.
I'm more of a "Make Love, Not Warcraft" kinda guy.
Do you agree with this statement? "I have read, understand, and agree to the loot rules used by Out of Exile."
Yes!
By submitting this application do you understand that if accepted you will be required to follow guild rules and agree to represent Out of Exile in a positive manner towards the rest of the Hydraxis/Terenas/other merged realms server?
